A book I think every creative should read is "Burn your portfolio" by Michael Janda.
A take away for me was how to calculate your burn rate on a daily basis. You have to figure out how much money you need to make to makes ends meet.
Creative people get into the creative business to do what they love to do. You also need to figure out how to do business well. This will enable you to be creative like you want to be creative.
Learning business empowers your creative journey because you won't worry about finances. Even if you're in a job.
