A place to go to inspire and be inspired.
Created by the founders of DNA-Design, Candice Ruckstuhl and Alan Williams who both foster the entrepreneurial creative spirit and have made it their business to offer advisory for creative firms.
They were encouraged to create The Design Community after realizing the need for a revolution in the design world, a time to stand together and support one another as designers.
Sounds refreshing, doesn’t it?
We have a different method to others of how we do things. A way that everyone else scrummed away from for some or other reason.
We ask people their names.
We ask people how they started their design careers/ businesses.
We ask people why they started their design careers/ businesses.
We ask them to tell us even more.
We ask them to tell us their story.
We ask them to share it with the world.

Our public declaration of how this community works is important as it asks the world to hold us accountable to what we stand for, what we believe in, and our 'why'.

We will rethink what it means to sell design.
We will be selective.
We will build design expertise rapidly.
We will not solve problems before we exchange value.
